hey guys,
This is an attempt for this post to be 'comforting' or rather... I'm trying to psycho this post to allow it to comfort me! Well as known it's already the 16th of feb which means that there are a total of 12 days to terms( or rather 15 days if you exclude GP since you can't really study for that). I know it's freaky just thinking of it 'cos terms are important and blah blah blah..

To be honest, i'm actually freaking out myself 'cos there isn't sufficient time for practise. Lectures and tutorials are still going on and the worst part is that there's still more content that needs to be taught.I keep wondering to myself when this never-ending flow of knowledge is ever going to stop so that there's time for me to take it all in.

Everything's going at a really fast pace too. Upon finishing one set of notes, two more extremely thick and massive stacks are placed in front of you.. Just as you thought you knew enough you're questioned about things you find out you don't know and you start to panick. And just when you thought all the materials were settled many new things are placed into your hands like e-learning and stuff. Perhaps it is really helpful and it really does help increase your knowledge however if i had all the time in the world i would be grateful, but currently i don't.

Taking 5 subjects means that equal time must be split upon all of them. 3 out of the 5 subjects require memorising and in the case of econs, extreme understanding of the concepts. Such things are not easy. And having to depend on myself for most of the subjects ,it's normal that i get thrown into a frenzy. There's also the notion of CCA.. It hardly gives me any stress anymore and i actually have fun and relax during choir at times but it also takes away large parts of my time and leave me tired. For example, i had choir from 8-3 today.. But i got home only around 3.30. This means about 6 hrs of my day is already gone. Following that, i come home to eat my lunch and take a short break.. And no sooner than that i get really tired due to the long day and most probably need to take a short nap so that i can last throughout the night to do all my other work.

This post is supposed to comfort everyone and not alarm you but as i continue typing i end up scaring myself. ( which is a bad sign)... But anyway here are a few sentences of 'comfort' ( notice i put the comfort as ' '.. Go figure why) But still, i hope it helps. Well firstly i keep reminding myself that if i try my best, that effort that i put in won't fail me... I'll try my best to revise/study and do as much as i can before the terms.. If i give in my best effort, it doesn't matter what the result is right?.( okay FINE of course it DOES matter but there won't be regrets). Secondly, i should take choir as the opportunity to rest and tune my mind to something else so that the moment i settle home i can tune my brain to the otherside. ( so choir SHALL become my leisure time) This means NO tv and whatsonot.. But i'm sure a short time at the computer will be fine : D>

I'm not sure how else to comfort everyone/myself to not panick for the term exams. Well one reason is that the term exam is neither the prelims nor the A levels in which at that time you shld already be fully prepared. In fact, that the terms is just a gauge of what you've learned for the first 3 months. You prepare, you do your best and if you don't do well. You know how much harder you have to work. just study and put in your best effort for the terms but dn't stress yourself too much yet if not you wont be able to last throughout the whole year towards the A levels... Therefore even though the terms is important, it's not worth it to stress yourself/kill yourself over it..

BUT THIS IS ONLY APPLICABLE IF YOU KNOW YOU'VE TRIED YOUR BEST. But usually if you've tried your best, you WONT not do well. So in simple terms, try your best and study hard and the fruits of sucess shld be there!

I'm not sure if this post makes much sense but i hope it does! So everyone just persevere on!! I'll go take my short nap now but i'll persevere on too!.

* Im not taking down the unglam pictures. 'cos i share the unglam-ity. Srry peeps :D. It's alright la!
